I found this New Year decoration using ‘mochi’ (rice cake )at supermaket. New Year is approaching.. Japanese spend the first three days (Jan 1-3) at hometown with families and relatives- (Tokyo is empty – well not really😂 ) , eat a lots of mochi and special dishes, gain weight(?), and come back to big cities ….
